While the distinctive two-tone colour scheme — pairing a black base with contrasting overlays in Varsity Maize — was successfully co-opted by the ‘Wu-Tang’ Dunk in 1999, this pair serves as a reminder that the Hawkeyes wore the colours first. The sneaker’s all-leather upper is equipped with a lightly padded nylon tongue, accented with a woven Nike tag.
